The Networking blog of Ivan Misner


I have talked a lot, in French mainly about networking, and the referral system (that will have an important place in my internship report actually). The BNI, or Business Networking International, is a networking group company that offers the opportunity to increase your business by receiving referrals.
You have for instance a BNI group, that will meet once a week, where people from different professions (real estate agent, chiropractor, attorney...) would meet to exchange referrals. By getting the referrals of the other group members, you increase your data base.

The added value that BNI offers is an actual know how and expertise about networking, introducing your business, and also building relationship with your power partners. Therefore, to integrate one of these groups, you need to go through some training and coaching sessions.

This blog, networking.entrepreneur.com, is very interesting, giving good tips to network, and then increase your visibility and efficiency during social events.

These networking tips can be beneficial for any kind of trade or profession. Networking is a key to develop your professional career.
