Using Twitter to advertise: Sinohotelreservation case study

I was reading my  emails today when I saw a new person following me on my Twitter. Its name is Bookhotel. I was very surprise when I saw this name, because it was quite obvisous that it was a corporate Twitter user, that was probably in the hotel industry (I know, I am very smart;). Anyway, I went on his Twitter and I saw it was indeed the Twitter of Sinohotelreservation, a website specialized in the hotel reservations in China.

I then paid attention to the different micro-blogging posts, and realized that most of them (about 70%) were some messages sent to people.

In my opinion, this is a great case of advertising on Twitter. He uses the Twitter community to leverage it and find new prospects. I think the process is pretty cool. We don't stop talking about communities online such as Facebook, Myspace, or Youtube, but actually Twitter is a very good one. Indeed, Twitter users most of the time post 5 to 6 times a day, which means that they are very intimate with the service, and therefore, it is easy to get interaction with them.

What do you think about it? Do you think that Twitter should have more of these kind of corporate users? Is it interesting to use Twitter as an advertising medium?
